In Search of Snow

Apparently it snowed in the mountains, but all we got was slush and rain.
Backyard turned into a mud pit and dogs are going stir-crazy.
What better day than Christmas day to head out in search of some white stuff.

Rail Trail at Silver Fork, all we had was a narrow padded path.

The snow turned to ice, it was hard, crusty and sharp.

It wasn't a cold day at all, but the iced over snow was not melting
