Last weekend we had one day in the 60's
But speaking of numbers .... minus 20 is the number of pounds I have lost so far this year. I have to say that this has been done totally without dieting or exercising since I love food and have been sick all winter long so haven't been getting out much nor have I been able to exert myself. No this is not a magic pill or formula. I just started watching my food portions as well as fat/sugar/sodium intake per day without eating crappy substitutes or tasteless foods and thus making living worthless. Being sick has pretty much been hell the last three months. Eating with a clear conscience has been easier than I thought. Once my body went through withdrawals when I cut down to a bare minimum the sugar intake in the afternoons or evenings and virtually stopped stuffing my face with processed foods. The difference has been amazing. An average one pound a week loss has been painless, yet now quite rewarding. I am shooting for another ten pounds and then hopefully be able to maintain the weight, now that I have established a much healthier eating pattern.
In other news, pups are doing great, but have gotten a little chubby so they went on a diet, at least until we can get out regularly again.
